Глава 9

1 Царица Савская прослышала о славе Соломона. И отправилась она в Иерусалим, чтобы испытать Соломона трудными вопросами. Совершала она этот путь в сопровождении огромной свиты; верблюды везли благовония, великое множество золота и драгоценных камней. Прибыв к Соломону, она говорила с ним обо всём, что было у нее на сердце.

2 И на каждый вопрос царицы был у Соломона ответ; не было вопроса, о котором не ведал бы Соломон, чего бы не смог объяснить ей.

3 Когда увидела царица Савская, как мудр Соломон, какой дворец он отстроил,

4 какие яства у него на столе, что за слуги сидят на его пирах, как прислуживают ему рабы и какие одежды носят, как одеты виночерпии и с какой свитой он поднимается в Храм ГОСПОДЕНЬ, у нее захватило дух.

5 И сказала она царю: «Правдой было то, что я слышала о твоих делах и о твоей мудрости у себя на родине.

6 Но я не верила тому, что говорили о тебе, пока не пришла сама и не увидела собственными глазами. Вижу, что и половины мне не рассказали, — гораздо больше у тебя и мудрости, и добра в сравнении с тем, что я слышала.

7 Блажен народ твой, блаженны слуги твои, которые всегда видят тебя и могут внимать твоей мудрости!

8 Благословен ГОСПОДЬ, Бог твой, который возлюбил тебя и возвел на престол Свой, сделав тебя царем пред ГОСПОДОМ. По любви Божьей к Израилю, чтобы утвердить израильтян навеки, Он поставил тебя царем над ними — творить правый суд».

9 Она подарила царю сто двадцать талантов золота, великое множество благовоний и драгоценных камней. Никогда прежде не бывало таких благовоний, какие царица Савская подарила царю Соломону.

10 А слуги Хирама вместе со слугами Соломона (те, что привозили золото из Офира) доставляли Соломону красное дерево и драгоценные камни.

11 Царь сделал из красного дерева лестницы для Храма ГОСПОДНЯ и царского дворца, арфы и лиры для музыкантов. Ничего подобного никогда прежде не видели в Иудее.

12 Царь Соломон дарил царице Савской всё, чего бы она ни пожелала, о чем бы ни попросила, — и были дары его несравненно большими, чем всё то, что она привезла царю. И вместе со своей свитой она возвратилась в свою страну.

13 Ежегодно в царскую казну поступало около шестисот шестидесяти шести талантов золота,

14 помимо того что выплачивали царю купцы и торговцы и помимо золота и серебра, которое привозили Соломону все цари аравийские и наместники областей.

15 Из кованого золота царь Соломон сделал двести больших щитов (на каждый пошло по шестисот шекелей золота)

16 и триста малых щитов из того же золота (на каждый пошло по триста шекелей золота). Их он развесил на стенах своего дворца из ливанского дерева.

17 Царь сделал большой престол из слоновой кости, обитый чистым золотом.

18 К престолу вели шесть ступеней, у него было золотое подножие и подлокотники с обеих сторон, а подле подлокотников стояли два льва.

19 Еще двенадцать львов стояли по обе стороны шести ступеней — такого престола не было ни в одном царстве!

20 Все сосуды, из которых пил Соломон, были золотыми, и все сосуды в его дворце из ливанского дерева тоже были из чистого золота, потому что во дни Соломона серебро совсем не ценилось.

21 Были у Соломона корабли, которые ходили в Таршиш (управляли ими люди Хирама). Раз в три года привозили они золото, серебро, слоновую кость, обезьян и павлинов.

22 Превзошел царь Соломон всех царей земных богатством и мудростью.

23 Цари всей земли мечтали увидеть Соломона и услышать мудрость, которую вложил ГОСПОДЬ в его сердце.

24 И каждый приносил с собой дары: золотые и серебряные сосуды, одежду, оружие, благовония, лошадей и мулов — и так из года в год.

25 Было у Соломона четыре тысячи колесниц с конными упряжками и двенадцать тысяч всадников; они находились в городах для колесничных войск; Соломон имел их и при себе, в Иерусалиме.

26 Соломон повелевал всеми царями от Евфрата до земли филистимской и границы египетской.

27 Во дни его царствования серебро и золото в Иерусалиме было столь же обычным, сколь и простые камни, а кедра было так много, как сикоморы в Шефеле.

28 Лошадей царю доставляли из Египта и множества других стран.

29 Прочие события царствования Соломона, от первых и до последних, записаны в повествованиях пророка Натана, пророчествах Ахии из Силома и видениях провидца Иддо о Иеровоаме, сыне Невата.

30 Соломон правил в Иерусалиме и над всем Израилем сорок лет.

31 И отошел Соломон к праотцам и был похоронен в Городе отца своего Давида, и после него воцарился его сын Ровоам.

2 Chronicles

Chapter 9

1 AND when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to test Solomon with enigmas. And she came to Jerusalem with a very great company, and camels bearing spices and gold in abundance and precious stones; and when she was come to King Solomon, she told him all that was in her heart.

2 And King Solomon told her every secret that was in her heart; and there was nothing hidden from the king which he could not tell her.

3 And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon and the house that he had built

4 And the food of his table and the seating of his servants and the attendance of his ministers and their apparel, his cupbearers also and their apparel, and the sacrifices that he offered in the house of the LORD, there was no more spirit left in her to see more.

5 And she said to King Solomon, It was a true report which I heard in my own land of your acts and of your wisdom;

6 Howbeit I did not believe their words until I came and my eyes had seen it; and, behold, the half of the greatness of your wisdom was not told me; for you exceed the report which I heard.

7 Happy are these your servants, who stand continually before you and hear your wisdom.

8 Blessed be the LORD your God, who has chosen you and set you on the throne of the kingdom of Israel; because the LORD loved Israel, he has made you king over them for ever, to do judgment and justice.

9 And she gave the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices great abundance, and precious stones; there were no such spices in the world as those which the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.

10 And the servants also of Hiram and the servants of King Solomon brought gold from Ophir.

11 And they also brought algum wood for stools for the house of the LORD and for the house of King Solomon, and harps for singers, and there were none such seen before in the land of Judah.

12 And King Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all that she asked, besides that which he had already given, and he told her all that was in her heart. So she turned and went away to her own land, she and her servants.

13 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold,

14 Besides the taxes from the cities and the traffic which the merchants brought. And all the kings of Arabia and the governors of the land brought silver and gold to Solomon.

15 And King Solomon made two hundred shields of fine gold; six hundred shekels of fine gold went into each shield.

16 And he made three hundred shields of fine gold; three hundred shekels of fine gold went to the handle of each shield. And the king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon.

17 Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold.

18 And there were six steps to the throne, and the rim of the throne encircled from behind it, with armrests on each side of the seat, and two lions standing behind the armrests.

19 And twelve lions stood there, on the one side and on the other side upon the six steps. There was not the like ever made in any kingdom.

20 And all the vessels of the service of King Solomon were of gold, and all the vessels of the king's treasuries were of pure gold; silver was not accounted as anything in the days of Solomon.

21 For the king had ships that went to Tarshish with the servants of Hiram; once every three years the ships of Tarshish came loaded with silver and gold, elephants, apes, and peacocks.

22 Thus King Solomon excelled all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.

23 And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear the wisdom that the LORD had put into his heart.

24 And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver and vessels of gold and garments, myrrh and spices, horses and mules, a fixed amount year by year.

25 And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he placed in the chariot cities and with the king at Jerusalem.

26 And Solomon ruled over all the kings from the river Euphrates to the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt.

27 And King Solomon made silver as plentiful in Jerusalem as stones, and he made cedar trees as the sand that is by the sea in abundance.

28 And they brought to Solomon horses from Egypt and from all lands.

29 Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat?

30 And Solomon reigned in Jerusalem forty years over all Israel.

31 And Solomon slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David his father; and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.

3 Когда увидела царица Савская, как мудр Соломон, какой дворец он отстроил,

3 And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon and the house that he had built

4 какие яства у него на столе, что за слуги сидят на его пирах, как прислуживают ему рабы и какие одежды носят, как одеты виночерпии и с какой свитой он поднимается в Храм ГОСПОДЕНЬ, у нее захватило дух.

4 And the food of his table and the seating of his servants and the attendance of his ministers and their apparel, his cupbearers also and their apparel, and the sacrifices that he offered in the house of the LORD, there was no more spirit left in her to see more.

5 И сказала она царю: «Правдой было то, что я слышала о твоих делах и о твоей мудрости у себя на родине.

5 And she said to King Solomon, It was a true report which I heard in my own land of your acts and of your wisdom;

6 Но я не верила тому, что говорили о тебе, пока не пришла сама и не увидела собственными глазами. Вижу, что и половины мне не рассказали, — гораздо больше у тебя и мудрости, и добра в сравнении с тем, что я слышала.

6 Howbeit I did not believe their words until I came and my eyes had seen it; and, behold, the half of the greatness of your wisdom was not told me; for you exceed the report which I heard.

7 Блажен народ твой, блаженны слуги твои, которые всегда видят тебя и могут внимать твоей мудрости!

7 Happy are these your servants, who stand continually before you and hear your wisdom.

8 Благословен ГОСПОДЬ, Бог твой, который возлюбил тебя и возвел на престол Свой, сделав тебя царем пред ГОСПОДОМ. По любви Божьей к Израилю, чтобы утвердить израильтян навеки, Он поставил тебя царем над ними — творить правый суд».

8 Blessed be the LORD your God, who has chosen you and set you on the throne of the kingdom of Israel; because the LORD loved Israel, he has made you king over them for ever, to do judgment and justice.

9 Она подарила царю сто двадцать талантов золота, великое множество благовоний и драгоценных камней. Никогда прежде не бывало таких благовоний, какие царица Савская подарила царю Соломону.

9 And she gave the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices great abundance, and precious stones; there were no such spices in the world as those which the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.

10 А слуги Хирама вместе со слугами Соломона (те, что привозили золото из Офира) доставляли Соломону красное дерево и драгоценные камни.

10 And the servants also of Hiram and the servants of King Solomon brought gold from Ophir.

11 Царь сделал из красного дерева лестницы для Храма ГОСПОДНЯ и царского дворца, арфы и лиры для музыкантов. Ничего подобного никогда прежде не видели в Иудее.

11 And they also brought algum wood for stools for the house of the LORD and for the house of King Solomon, and harps for singers, and there were none such seen before in the land of Judah.

12 Царь Соломон дарил царице Савской всё, чего бы она ни пожелала, о чем бы ни попросила, — и были дары его несравненно большими, чем всё то, что она привезла царю. И вместе со своей свитой она возвратилась в свою страну.

12 And King Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all that she asked, besides that which he had already given, and he told her all that was in her heart. So she turned and went away to her own land, she and her servants.

13 Ежегодно в царскую казну поступало около шестисот шестидесяти шести талантов золота,

13 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold,

14 помимо того что выплачивали царю купцы и торговцы и помимо золота и серебра, которое привозили Соломону все цари аравийские и наместники областей.

14 Besides the taxes from the cities and the traffic which the merchants brought. And all the kings of Arabia and the governors of the land brought silver and gold to Solomon.

15 Из кованого золота царь Соломон сделал двести больших щитов (на каждый пошло по шестисот шекелей золота)

15 And King Solomon made two hundred shields of fine gold; six hundred shekels of fine gold went into each shield.

16 и триста малых щитов из того же золота (на каждый пошло по триста шекелей золота). Их он развесил на стенах своего дворца из ливанского дерева.

16 And he made three hundred shields of fine gold; three hundred shekels of fine gold went to the handle of each shield. And the king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon.

17 Царь сделал большой престол из слоновой кости, обитый чистым золотом.

17 Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold.

18 К престолу вели шесть ступеней, у него было золотое подножие и подлокотники с обеих сторон, а подле подлокотников стояли два льва.

18 And there were six steps to the throne, and the rim of the throne encircled from behind it, with armrests on each side of the seat, and two lions standing behind the armrests.

19 Еще двенадцать львов стояли по обе стороны шести ступеней — такого престола не было ни в одном царстве!

19 And twelve lions stood there, on the one side and on the other side upon the six steps. There was not the like ever made in any kingdom.

20 Все сосуды, из которых пил Соломон, были золотыми, и все сосуды в его дворце из ливанского дерева тоже были из чистого золота, потому что во дни Соломона серебро совсем не ценилось.

20 And all the vessels of the service of King Solomon were of gold, and all the vessels of the king's treasuries were of pure gold; silver was not accounted as anything in the days of Solomon.

22 Thus King Solomon excelled all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.

23 And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear the wisdom that the LORD had put into his heart.
